wanna read my fashion article:):)?
what do you think about it? is it readable? does it provide good information? thank youit's for a school newspaperA Little Fashion to Warm YouWinter Fashion...sounds bland, comfy and warm right? WRONG! While battling a forecasted harsh winter this year, do not give up on staying tres chic. Start from the outside...while the weather’s still forgiving enjoy wearing coats; they are all the rage this year. Remember the plaid materials that appeared as an approaching trend in autumn? Well plaid is a full-on must have right now and plaid coats are the “it” items. I would recommend darker colors for the coats, like blues greens and purples but if you’re the funky type feel free to brave the gray winter with some vibrant hues like red for example. What winter is all about though is...you guessed it! Boots! Let your inner horseback rider shine through and wear those English style boots. This year they’re structured, straight and reach just below the knee. Another trend that is very Decorative porcelain popular (you might like this if you’re a hippie chic style person) is the rain boot shaped boot, it’s basically a leather rain boot; a lot of girls around Tbilisi have adopted this trend already. Colors of the boots may vary from light browns to black but there is a rule, the boots and the bag must match. As for trousers, Bermuda shorts is a trend that is pretty common in winter fashion; the combination of shorts that reach just above the knee, knee high boots and stockings is a pretty popular combination. Skinny jeans have been “in” for what, like forever? Seems so, but this season they’re especially handy because Mother Fashion says: “Thou shall wear thy jeans tucked into thy boots.” An important talent in this season is of course accessorizing. Hats, scarves, statement necklaces all liven up the one-color sweaters and jackets. Speaking of which, it is always flattering to wear a single color top, it structures your look better and you can accessorize it any way you want. Jackets and tops this year have neat details like big buttons, or interesting collars; a lot of them are sown asymmetrically giving the regular sweater a chic twist. Knitwear is very common on runways this season and the key to it is, make it as interesting and as complicated as possible (ornamental and decorative knitting.) Concerning hair and skin, moisturizing is the key for the harsh conditions of winter. Cold wind and heating systems can cause any type of skin to dry out so be sure to on moisturizer on as a base of make-up. Make-up this season consists of a porcelain skin and either dramatic eyes or dramatic lips (never ever do both!). Some may not like the idea of porcelain skin but in winter a relatively pale skin makes sense and looks more in place than a deep tanned face in contrast to snow white hands and neck. As for the hair, if you were thinking of dying it, this is the perfect time to go a tone or half a tone darker. My ultimate advice though is, make the most of winter time! Don’t let the dull weather get to you, stay stylish.
