We actually ordered 8 place settings of the Fiesta dinnerware. We also ordered this platter and a sugar and creamer. The Fiesta dinnerware is very high quality and it appears to be heavy duty (there is a lot of ceramic material in each item). We have run the dishes through the dishwasher many times and they still look like new. We are using them for our “everyday” dishes so they are being used a lot. We are very pleased with our purchases. A bonus — they are made in the UNITED STATES!!!
A company that repairs cracked china plates?
Help! I just inherited a family heirloom china Platter platter, and it has a crack. I want to take it someplace and have it professionally restored. Does anyone know of a good company that can do it?Thank you!

Item in great condition; quick shipping. I would purchase from this seller in the future.
This was given as part of a wedding gift set. I have not heard pro nor con from the receiving couple.
This platter, like everything I have gotten from Fiesta, is just gorgeous! However, it is quite small, and does not tend to be as useful as some of the larger pieces I have purchased. It pays to take out your ruler, and try to get an idea of size, before you buy. But if you are looking for a smaller platter for a more intimate dinner, or for only a small family, it will be perfect! I still love it! And use it!!
We have started to build a full set of these smaller serving-sized plates. Although we have the larger round plates by Fiesta, these are perfect for keeping the serving sizes within reason. Fill these oval plates up and you have a perfect meal without going overboard. We love them!
Don’t buy! Macys will send you fruit bowls and when you point out the error between them and amazon they won’t care. After much frustration I filed a claim thru amazon and my monies have been refunded. NEVER again will I do a 3rd party purchase.
Macy’s sent me a fruit bowl instead of a platter. When I emailed them about this, they said that I ordered a fruit bowl and received a fruit bowl – so there’s no problem. I emailed back that the picture, title, product description and product size/weight all indicate a platter, not a fruit bowl. I haven’t heard back from them again, but don’t expect much based on previous buyers experiences. I can’t believe this issue has existed since JUNE and neither Amazon nor Macy’s has corrected the problem. Inexcusable!
