Free indicative hints on pfaltzgraff French
28 June 2010

I’ve had this set since it came out and I agree with the other reviewer. The plates are scratched from knife/fork marks, the edges of two plates have chipped, and the plate thickness varies…two are heavier than the others while two are thinner, which happen to be the ones that have chipped edges.
I regret having spent so much money on this set, with all the accessories. If I could do it over, this is NOT the set I would buy. It is not a good investment.
where can I order white tableware online and have it delivered in Canada?
For examples of style I would like, my favourite set to-date is Hutschenrejther - Hotel pattern, followed by Mikasa "Antique White" pfaltzgraff French and Pfaltzgraff "Providence". But I'm open to other brands is style is comparable. I need complete sets of 12 servings, but have been unable to find any supplier that delivers to or within Canada. Help!My preference is to have delivery within Canada vs paying shipping & duty. I have done extensive Google searches and visited the company main pages but have been unable to find a Canadian site that delivers.

We bought a complete set of French Quarter dinnerware plus accessories less than two years ago. Now the design has faded so badly you can hardly see it and the glaze shows every knife and fork mark. I know from others who own other Pfaltzgraff designs that the same things happens. DON’T buy this brand. Their glaze is not durable.
We have the entire set of Phaltzgraff French-Quarter dishes, including the small salt/pepper shakers. There are several things wrong with this piece. The measurements are incorrect and this bowl is only two inches deep, not four as indicated in the ad. The multi-colored side stripe is not straight and the bowl wobbles due to the base being misformed. Very poor workmanship. We would have given it one star but it does not leak, yet! The dishes do not stack eveningly and the bowls are misaligned, too. They are attractive and cheap.
My wife and I have just recently become empty nesters and decided it was time to upgrade our dinnerware. After looking around we settled on Pfaltzgraph, specifically the French Quarter design.
This bowl is the perfect size to serve mashed potatoes, steamed carrots or just about any other veggie dish you can imagine.
We have be very pleased with all the Pfaltzgraff we have purchased, so much so we have just about doubled our initial orders!
I got this free from amazon during one of their promotional sales on dinnerware. Bought the french quarter dinnerware set and this came free. It is a beautiful bowl and wonderful for serving at parties. I always receive compliments on this pattern and it is very sturdy and runs great through the dishwasher. I love this pattern because it is elegant enough for a formal dinner party, but casual enough because of the weight of the pieces to use on a daily basis.
