Large and pretty. Very simple design. A little on the heavy size, but large enough for a big bowl of pasta, salad or any other family dish.
do you remember the pitcher and bowl sets, i think they were porcelain?
where could i find one? http://www.laurelauction.com/1201bs%20Pitcher%20&%20Bowl%20Set.JPG for under $20.00, all the ones i've found are like 50, and it's porcelain Bowl for my mom, but she has broken 5 already, and i paid 50 or more for the 4 i gave her, so now i want a cheap one,oh and she likes purple. thank you so much have a nice day.thanks, i was wondering if they made plastic, yes she breaks almost everything, she has no concept of the fact that someone else bought it, it may be hard to find, she doesn't care, she broke a vase on her last visit that was a wedding gift from my husband's now deceased grandma.

I like Amazon. This company is credible and customer-oriented. I was surprised to find that their price is the lowest and their delivery is so quick. I’ll use Amazon now on.
I use this bowl all the time as a cereal bowl or a soup bowl. I have also used it when I have a small serving of something to put on the table.
I love this collection, but thought a fruit bowl would be to serve fruit. It’s actually a small portion serving for ONE person – much better for a bowl of cereal…
This is the first Lenox product I have to return to Amazon. The fruit bowl is small. Probably to serve fruit chunks, rather than putting fruits in it. The biggest drawback for me is there is no butterfly pattern on the outside of the bowl.
By far one of the best items for the price I have ever purchased on Amazon. These lines are a heavy gauge metal and though I’m not sure exactly what it is it’s at least twice that of the lines that came with the stove. I purchased the GE/Hotpoint porcelain ones.
Speaking of those that came with the stove… they were a polished aluminum that stained easily and were very difficult to clean. The last straw with my original inferior liners was when we used a large pressure cooker on the stove and the liners burned to the point that they couldn’t be cleaned… they were in shades of black & blue on both sides. Since they were silver in color the stove top then looked terrible and the burning would have come from the use of any large or oversized pot. The stove was not a cheapie and I’d expect the liners to hold up better but I was wrong and since the liners had to be replaced… or covered in foil for eternity… I opted to try these and I’m glad I did. These also sit in place and do not move around!
These are not only black but they are also enameled and much easier to clean. Since the stove is white with a black door and control panel these look great and enhance the look of the stove. Since they’re black every speck of crud that falls isn’t very noticeable and I can stop being as anal retentive about cleaning. The only drawback to them is that they transfer the heat and get very hot… much more than the original ones… and that heat will transfer to the range top. I wouldn’t call them “Reflector Bowls” because they don’t reflect as much heat as they absorb.
Lastly, these lines also only accommodate one set of alignment tabs so if your stove elements require three of those alignment slits in the liner then these won’t work… as another reviewer point out. However, the description does state they have a locking notch and not three locking notches. If you don’t have a GE or Hotpoint they perhaps the Universal is what you need.
Don’t get me wrong. I got these and was immediately impressed with the quality. They are more substantial than the original ones that came with my stove 22 years ago as well as every replacement set I’ve purchased locally throughout the years. I got sick of the rust and pitting in my current set and thought these looked, sounded (and were priced) perfect(ly).
They DO fit the stove nicely and don’t wiggle (that drives me insane). BUT, my coils have these little nubs or ‘feet’ that are designed to fit in tiny slits strategically placed around the rim of these bowls to keep the coil steadily in place. That is where my problem lies. The ‘feet’ of my coils don’t align with the slits in these bowls-three feet-three slits-three misfits. Just an amoeba measurement off, but enough so that now the coils of my stove all skewed sidways. They all look like a see-saw: one side on the stove, the oppositve side sticking up above the stove surface about 3/4″. One could get seasick looking at my empty stove for too long! Only a heavy pot/pan forces the coils down so that the heat from the coil is evenly distributed (well, from what I can see when I bend down and try to look beneath the heavy pot). I can’t live with these much longer and I am looking for replacements now. MY problem is that I was so excited when these new, sturdy, shiny ones arrived, I trashed my others immediately, so now I’m stuck with these until I find new ones that actually fit my stove. I think I’d like my wobbly, rusty, crusty ones back than keep using these. Anyone know where my trash goes???
This beautiful suger bowl looks lovely when setting out your tea or coffee~ You can use it for sugar or for lemon wedges if you take your tea with lemon
Much nicer than the picture. Design is more subtle and delicate, and the handle on the lid is adorable.
Excellent service…received item very quickly and no issues at all. Would definitely buy from them again!!
Cute, seems a little bit fragil , compared to the Sango I had, but for everyday use it’s fine.Shipping was fast.
