What do you do when people don't like you for you but for your sister?
The other day I moved schools to the school my sister teaches at. It is not permanent, just for the rest of freshman year. There were some issues with one of my teachers at my other school, and yeah whatever. But anyways, I moved to this new school on Tuesday. It is about half an hour from our house so my sister drives me. Apparently she is one of the nicest teachers at that school or something, and everyone likes her because she is really funny. So anyway, in homeroom the teacher HAD to go and say, "Class, this is Karrie, Mrs. Lamberton's (my sister is married btw) sister." Lamberton china And so then now all the kids are like, "Ohh I love your sister she is my fave teacher." And all these guys are like, "Your sister is the hottest teacher at this school" and it gets SO annoying and they wont leave me alone! I want them to like me for me, not my sister. I want to be just a normal new kid and blend in with the crowd, because I have no need to "make a name for myself" or whatever here, because I am going back to my old school next year anyway. To my old friends who don't give a crap about who is who in my family, to the kids I've known since kindergarten and 6th grade. But no matter how hard I try, the teachers aren't much of a help. The health teacher is really mean to everyone except me, and I hate that. I wan her to treat me normally. All the teachers always either smile at me or say "you look exactly like Cassie!" and I hate it. Please don't tell me crap about enjoying the attention because you obviously have not been in this situation. I just want to get through the school year, make a few normal friends, and then go back to where I left off at my old school. I literally heard some girls the other day discussing whether me and my sisters butts looked the same. It pissed me off. I really need advice on how to make this blow over fast. Thanks!
