Judge White porcelain
8 July 2010

This is the easiest to use pill smasher I have ever used.
great price, great size,
How can I get my white porcelain sinks white again? They look so yellow and ugly!?
I have tried using Pine-Sol, White porcelain bleach, Krud Kutter, SOS pads . . . a lot of things, but my sinks still look terrible. I use these plastic mats to protect them from metal scrapes, but who cares when they look so dingy! Is there a solution?

It was the right color, shape ,and size but…when I opened the box, part of the lid was broken and the broken pieces were inside the teapot. I felt that the lid should have been wrapped with bubble wrap or something to protect it from transport. I didn’t want a replacement because I don’t want to have another broken teapot.
I like the look of this kettle and the handle does not get as hot as other tea kettles I have had. It seems to be well built and looks nice in our kitchen. I would have prefered a trigger device to open the spout instead of the little handle on the the end of it. Overall, very happy with it.
This is a nice product but a little over priced. It will not whistle if filled too full which is about half full.
I was pleased with the hinge , but really upset it cost over eleven dollars for shipping. I will not purchase the remaining number of hinges I need.
Excellent quality! This is the second one I have purchased. I have had mine for quite a few years now and my daughter-in-law expressed an interest, after using mine, that she liked it so much she wished she had one. I purchased this one for her for Christmas! It is very stylish and comfortable to pour from. Great size…Can hold plenty of water! Comes in great colors…I personally LOVE the black. Worth every penny!!
Perfect for crushing dog pills and supplements to the point they can be easily hidden in dry or wet food.
This is a great design for crushing spices and herbs, or any time you need crushed black pepper. It doesn’t retain flavors, and is easy to clean. I find it easy to use, and gentle on the wrists. It’s also small and, at $6.99, quite cheap.
It doesn’t turn things into a powder well (that’s for a grinder) or make guacamole or pesto (a much larger mortar and pestle is needed); if that’s what you’re looking for, you need a different gadget.
The mortar & pestle set arrived promptly, but the shape of the pestle face bit not fit well with the mortar bowl.
I keep one of these in my tack room, and it’s perfect for grinding up pills for critters. Just the right size, so it stays out of the way. The only problem? Well, porcelain can break, and after dropping it on more than one occasion (with minimal harm), the last drop knocked of the handle. I’ll be ordering a new one.
Simple method – 1 hole – nice slow flow for a perfect cup of coffee. Rinses clean.
I am displeased with the design of the No. 6 Cilio porcelain filter holder I purchased in February 2010. It does not sit solidly on the cup as a result of three strange triangles that are placed on the bottom side around the raised inner circle rim. The designers must have had some purpose in mind for these triangles, but the result is that the filter cone rocks slightly and is of suspect stability.
I do prefer to use a porcelain cone over a plastic one though, and the No. 6 cone does have two holes so the water pours through fast enough.
Received this promptly. We also ordered the much cheaper plastic RSVP Manual drip cone. The Cilio arrived and after a quick check over seemed fine. Used it, noticed coffee dripping off the side of the base. After a pot made, pulled out the filter to find a long crack from top to bottom by the handle.
After one use, we also found it to be a bit tippy on top of our carafe. Prefer the RSVP even though it drips excessively slow. Originally bought it for camping but will keep it at home too.
Amazon was great in the return. No issues or hassles. Thanks Emma for a quick and painless response.
I’ve used this coffee filter holder for a month and love it. Like others, I wish it had more than one hole for dripping coffee into the pot, but that is not a problem. My goal is to make delicious coffee, which means using water that is hotter than a regular, drip coffee maker can produce. With the filter holder, coffee can be made with 200- to 205-degree water (tea kettle) and it DOES have much greater flavor. I didn’t want to use the #6 filter model because those paper filters are harder to find and cost more. (I only find #4 filters at Trader Joe’s.) As for the porcelain quality, mine is perfect and is not cracking. Skinny handle? Yes, but that doesn’t matter. This is not a cast iron frying pan. Completely worth my money!
