Are you looking for information about Pottery porcelain
28 August 2010

Someone reviewed this stating it was a set. It is not, the price is for a single dish. I was disappointed to pay so much for one dish, and it is pretty fragile. I broke it soon after it arrived. Pretty dish for making single serve baked eggs, but too expensive and fragile to me.
How can I identify a pottery mark on Japanese porcelain?
I have a set of beautifully decorated cups saucers and small plates Pottery porcelain with a jug and a teapot. It was bought by my father in Japan just after it surrendered in WW2. I have searched the net and cannot identify the marks on the cups or plates. What sites are there that can help me without charging money.
