It was the right color, shape ,and size but…when I opened the box, part of the lid was broken and the broken pieces were inside the teapot. I felt that the lid should have been wrapped with bubble wrap or something to protect it from transport. I didn’t want a replacement because I don’t want to have another broken teapot.
Excellent quality! This is the second one I have purchased. I have had mine for quite a few years now and my daughter-in-law expressed an interest, after using mine, that she liked it so much she wished she had one. I purchased this one for her for Christmas! It is very stylish and comfortable to pour from. Great size…Can hold plenty of water! Comes in great colors…I personally LOVE the black. Worth every penny!!
I was pleased with the hinge , but really upset it cost over eleven dollars for shipping. I will not purchase the remaining number of hinges I need.
I like the look of this kettle and the handle does not get as hot as other tea kettles I have had. It seems to be well built and looks nice in our kitchen. I would have prefered a trigger device to open the spout instead of the little handle on the the end of it. Overall, very happy with it.
This is a nice product but a little over priced. It will not whistle if filled too full which is about half full.
I’ve used this coffee filter holder for a month and love it. Like others, I wish it had more than one hole for dripping coffee into the pot, but that is not a problem. My goal is to make delicious coffee, which means using water that is hotter than a regular, drip coffee maker can produce. With the filter holder, coffee can be made with 200- to 205-degree water (tea kettle) and it DOES have much greater flavor. I didn’t want to use the #6 filter model because those paper filters are harder to find and cost more. (I only find #4 filters at Trader Joe’s.) As for the porcelain quality, mine is perfect and is not cracking. Skinny handle? Yes, but that doesn’t matter. This is not a cast iron frying pan. Completely worth my money!
Simple method – 1 hole – nice slow flow for a perfect cup of coffee. Rinses clean.
