Free supportive hints on lenox Linen
28 July 2010

I’ve had these placemats in the ivory color for about five years now. They look just as good as they did new. Stains wash out easy as anything, and I’ve not had the problems with washing that others have mentioned. In the time that I’ve owned them, the 8 that I have have probably been thrown in the washer over a hundred times. Good as new.
Love this product and am planning on buying in more colors.

Any suggestions for dining room drapes?
My dining room is painted a light ivory color above chair rail w/ cream colored bottom & white trim 'squares' below the chair rail. The trim is all painted lenox Linen white. The trim work is very elaborate. I have ivory Lenox Laurel Leaf table linens, and white china with gold piping. Dark walnut furniture. And one window; 36x84. I would like an elegant drape to tie in all of these ivory & cream colors, but only have about $200 to spend. Any suggestions? I would really appreciate them :) I am going crazy trying to find something!

Bought 8 of these napkins and I am very satisfied. They do require ironing, but they are large and durable, and a very nice pattern.
I purchased these napkins along with the tablecloth and my easter table was stunning. I have used these several times and they wash up perfectly. Very pleased and happy with this purchase. Recommend to friends.
The napkins are wonderful. I just ordered two more sets for my party table. The color and style is stunning. I already have the tablecloths and they look great. I received compliments about the quality and beauty of the style. It is not garish but simple and elegant. Last year I purchased holiday tablecloths at the last minute and was not very happy with them. They were too much with the Christmas colors but it was the best compared to the rest of the lot. Overall I love them.
These dinner napkins are just right for everyday use. Right size. Neutral colors. And, they wash well. Hard to beat the price, too.
These are very elegant napkins. The photo does not show the sheen on them, which make them very rich looking. I got the matching placemats. Makes for a very nice place setting with the copper napkin rings I got.
What a surprise for my family to see the beautiful table laid out for thanksgiving. The Lennox Napkins and Table clothe were a perfect compliment to my China and fit the new table like a dream. AND they cleaned up nicely too! I love these table linens and will deffinetly purchase more in the future.
Bought 5 sets of the gold color napkins to go along with the white Lenox Laurel Leaf table cloth. We have 5 Lenox tablecloths and are always pleased with the material. The napkins use the same material as the tablecloth. They wash very well, and we never need to iron them as long as they are removed from the dryer as soon as they are done. The Napkins hold up well even after many washes. The size is just right for folding into different styles for the table setting. They do have some minor shrinkage after the first wash, but not a big deal.
A number of years ago, I stopped using cloth napkins and didn’t start again — until now. My reasoning wasn’t “green”, to tell you the truth, in part because I am not entirely persuaded that the footprint of cloth napkins (manufacture, distribution, detergent, laundering, drying and probably more) is much smaller than the paper towel or two we had become accustomed to tearing off.
Rather, it was a wish to try to put more everyday elegance into our lives. A cloth napkin, especially when it is a nice big one like these are, sits placidly on your lap throughout dinner. No worries that the breeze created by someone opening the fridge will whisk the serviette onto the floor. And somehow it feels more civilized to wipe one’s mouth with a substantial piece of cloth.
My main worry was whether it would be too much trouble to keep up with plastic (well, these *are* polyester) instead of paper. Not a problem. First, though, a true confession: at our house, freshly laundered linens always go on the table when others join us for a meal. But the rest of the time, we use the same napkins for several days before running these through the wash. Try THAT (using napkins for several days) with a paper towel! Even so, these have hit the wash a number of times. I use detergent for delicate fabrics, use the washing machine setting for delicates, and pull the things out of the dryer when they’ve just begun to dry. When they’ve air-dried, I fold them immediately. What don’t I have to do? IRON! These really are easy care napkins.
Frankly, I don’t expect these to last forever. The fabric seems likely to develop pulled threads or frayed spots. If you are looking for some linens destined for your great-great grandchildren, these are not a good choice. Ditto, if you prefer the crispness of cotton or linen. These have the slick texture of polyester, which some find unpleasant. But for someone like me, these work very well. Almost with my making any effort, our meals feel much more civilized.
Well, we finally got a dining room table big enough for everyone to sit around and none of my table cloths are big enough. This Opal Innocence table cloth is beautiful, heavyweight and comes out nice right out of the dryer. In addition, the braid sewn on the hem helps keep the cloth neat on the table. Get the matching dinner napkins.
I had previously purchased the Lenox Laurel Leaf in another color and have been very satisfied with the appearance and quality of the tablecloth. I have used my new white Lenox Laurel Leaf tablecloth about four times and it still looks fabulous. No ironing is needed if removed from the dryer at the end of the permanent press cycle. Do not over-dry the tablecloth. I like the sheen it gives off. I have not purchased the matching napkins as I prefer linen/cotton over a synthetic for napkins. I definitely recommend Lenox Laurel Leaf as a tablecloth that is easy to care for and has a classy appearance. The size is perfect for my table that seats 8-10.
Lovely tablecloth that doesn’t stain easily. Have used for two occasions and was able to easily wipe out any stains without having to wash. Beautiful and elegant with a shimmer to the fabric. Also a great value, most tablecloths you see like this cost twice as much.
I have wasted many a dollar at Williams-Sonoma for table cloths and napkins. I have been very disappointed with both the craftmanship and also the need of ironing! This table cloth is not only beautiful, it is also practical! I highly recommend it.
I purchased the Lenox Butterfly Meadow tablecloth and when it arrived, I was absolutely amazed at how beautiful it is. It is much more vibrant in color than in the picture and the material is very lovely. It almost looks like white satin or silk in some areas. It truly is beautiful. I know I keep repeating muself but it truly is.
I used it for the first time 2 weeks ago and I had some people over. One of my friends looked at it, stopped in her tracks, and after 30 seconds or so of silence, said, “this matches my dishes”. I laughed and said, yes, it is Lenox. She asked where I purchased it and if it was expensive and I filled her in on details. She just couldn’t get over it.
All that is the positive side. Now for the negative and this is why I gave it only 4 stars instead of 5. I washed it and followed the manufacturer’s instructions to the letter. However, I was a little disappointed that it did not look as great after washing as it did before. Anotherwords, it was a little wrinkly and the edges were curled. It looked as if it needed a cool or warm iron to touch it up. Maybe that is the case. I just thought it would be wrinkle proof.
But it is still gorgeous, looks fantastic on the table, and I would buy it again, but maybe in a larger size for when I opened my dining room table to be larger.
So, all in all, I would still recommend it and I would buy it again.
My Grandchildren always love to come to grammies for family diner, In todays busy world having a tablecloth, candles, and flowers is very special memory .
Cruising through my table dressings trying to find inspiration for a bridal shower I found this pattern in a couple of placemats. Soft, Spring/Summer colors and feminine flower designs make this perfect for this special occasion. Lenox table coverings cannot be bested in design and quality. Will also be using another Lenox table cloth Lenox Opal Innocence 60-by-120-Inch Oblong / Rectangle Tablecloth, White that really dresses up a formal table.
I am VERY PLEASED with my new tablecloth!!! It is almost a 3-D look with the various colored flowers and butterflies! Very elegant on my Ethan Allen dining room table, too. The nice thing is it also matches my decor and tabletop flowers. I would recommend the Lenox Butterfly tablecloth to ANYONE who wants to set a beautiful table; it washes and dries wrinkle-free. THAT is a bonus!!
These placemats are great for nice but more casual and flexible table setting. After reading past reviews, I do not wash them. Instead I hand “spot” them after use. So far, this has worked well. I might buy a couple of extras just in case there is a stain I can’t get out.
