It's a Moe Anthropomorphism series, where every type of music form African Folk to Classical to Punk Rock is represented as a cute manga character. They interact, get into fights, make friends, fall in love, in ways that represent the way the styles have interacted and influenced each other over the years.Would you enjoy reading that?Some characters for example:American Folk: An awkwardly tall male character called Elias Heap. His mother minton Blue is Celtic Folk. His clothes don't quite fit him, symbolizing how folk music has usually been written by poorer people, especially before the 1960s. He is a slave to his conscience and a fervent communist, which represents how folk music has often been used for protest and social change. He lives with the character representing Blues for a while, which is about how in the two styles combined and learned a lot from each other in the 1920s and 1930s.Rock and Roll: Another male character called Danny Mint. He is mixed race, his father is the Blues and his mother is Country. (Rock and roll was born of a fusion of black and white styles, especially blues and country.) When he was younger he was a careless tearaway, but since the 1960s he's been more serious.Jazz: Minnie Minton. She's a flapper. She loves dancing, parties, and having fun. Her brother, the Blues, doesn't think she is serious enough, and thinks her brother is depressing. Her best friend is Broadway, and the two girls are inseparable.
