I purchased four Lenox Simply Fine Chirp 4-piece place settings and am enjoying them a lot! These are not fine china, but lovely everyday use dinnerware. The colors are lovely. What looks red in the picture is actually a coral color which matches the coral in my home perfectly. Amazon’s price was the lowest, but not low enough for me to purchase eight or twelve place settings plus the serving pieces I would like to complete the set. I will probably purchase these items when the price comes down. Right now, Chirp is a hot item which keeps the price higher than it may really be worth.
How often do they discontinue china patterns?
My fiancee and I are not planning to get china lenox married for another year and a half....but I found the china pattern I love...now. Im afraid they will discontinue it. Its a popular brand ...Lenox. What should I do!

This is our wedding china. And they are perfect – elegant, classy and above all, like great china ought to be – dainty. We got three of the 5-piece place settings as gifts and bought the rest at $79.99 from Macy’s during their big July sale. Lucky! Lenox rules…. when they are not making gigantic glassware (e.g., Tuscany, butler’s pantry) or tacky china with dragonflies, fruits, or butterflies on them.
My husband and I chose this china pattern for our wedding registry and think the pattern is absolutely gorgeous. However, I have had unsuccessful attempts to order this product through Amazon. I originally ordered 4 place settings and when they arrived two were broken due to the poor packaging. Amazon’s customer service was quick to replace them but believe it or not, I received 2 place settings today — one of which was the incorrect pattern and broken as well. Amazon refunded my money but I guess it was a lesson learned. I orignially registered for this pattern through Macy’s and every place setting I received through them have been perfect – nothing broken. It’s unfortunate Amazon couldn’t do the same. The price is very reasonable but as their customer service rep said today, they cannot keep sending the same product and risking breakage. On a side note, I don’t believe it was the shipping that resulted in the damage. The boxes of china were placed loosely in the shipping box with the minimal sheets of bubble wrap. Macy’s shipped theirs in much larger boxes with the peanuts and they were much more secure. Maybe Amazon will review how they package their items for shipping and provide a better product to the next person. I, however, will not order from Amazon again. Two times is enough.
We love this pattern. We chose it as our wedding china pattern and are so glad we did. It’s absolutely gorgeous!!
This pattern is absolutely stunning on a dinner table. The ivory tone-on-tone is so versatile- you can match almost any color linens with it and it will look good. The little “pearls” make it so dainty and elegent! The serving pieces are just divine. I matched this pattern with the Lenox Opal Innocence crystal (gorgeous!!!) and Lenox Landmark Platinum Frosted flatwear (also beautiful). Can you tell I love Lenox?!? My parents’ Lenox china is 44 years old and still looks as good as new. Don’t be afraid to use it- this stuff is durable! It is also dishwasher safe. The price has come down quite a bit since this pattern came out a couple of years ago.
This beautiful Lenox piece was my wedding cake topper. It is quite beautiful and everyone loved it! I’m glad that I have such a wonderful keepsake of my wedding day!

This Cake topper is very elegant and a wonderful keepsake. The detail is remarkable and the pictures do not do it justice! Although it is a bit pricey…I recommend this cake topper for anyone who is looking for something that is elegant and a lifetime keepsake.
We ordered this item for our future daughter-in-law and Son. She selected this cake topper from many that Lenox offers. Upon receiving it and having a chance to look at it first hand. She was very pleased with the purchase.
they are beautiful and have a pretty victorian antique look, there are 4 coaster and 4 different designs, they look nice on the wooden coffee table, in the dining room and in the bedroom. they are well made, great quality and pretty design, just for that price they should give you six.
I love these tiny coasters and use them everyday. They are a litte bigger than my palms but still as elegant as other butterfly series products. I use them of course as coasters, but they can be used as teabag holders, individual butter, olive oil or soy sauce plates. Moreover, with votives on them, they can make perfect asian style teacup/saucer set. I will order one more because it is a set of only 4, so that I can use them with my 18 piece dinner set for 6.
I purchased this as a gift for my mother, an avid collector of anything butterfly related. She had recently received the Lenox butterfly coffee cups and loved them so I thought this would be a nice addition. I was slightly disappointed to find only three of the coasters had a butterfly on it; the fourth coaster had a dragonfly. Still, a nice set and Mom enjoys it.
Timeless beauty, elegance. Sets the most beautiful table. The many detailed colors make endless linen choices possible. Absolutely worth hand-washing, and I don’t often say that!
We’ve just purchase two 4-piece settings of Lenox Chirp as a wedding gift for an older couple. The birds make a nice reference to a couple settling down together. It is lovely and we wish we could afford more settings. We like this pattern because the individual plates and bowls can be used as accent serving pieces to dress up a plain everyday table setting and the mug is a practical shape and size. The pattern is just beautiful and the colors are very rich. The plates feel very solid when held, not as if they may break if handled roughly. There are many additional pieces, giving us more opportunity over the years to give individual serving or ornamental pieces as additional gifts. It’s been a very popular pattern for Lenox, so we hope it won’t be discontinued quickly. We did find that the linens that are available to go with the setting are of a fussy material, a little shiny and slick.
This was on a wedding register and was listed as a “must have” item. I am sure the couple had done their own research and knew it to be a good product.
I purchased the Lenox Opal Innocence 5 piece place setting as a wedding gift for my daughter. It arrived quickly with all pieces arriving in beautiful condition. I couldn’t believe my luck when I found her place setting on Amazon for $50.00 cheaper than the department store where she registered and I got free shipping on top of that!! (If you don’t know, when you purchase a place setting at the department store you have to pay shipping- $22.00- they don’t stock the china.) I ended up saving over $70.00!
I was asked to get this for a xmas gift for my grandson and his wife. After xmas was over they opened it to unpack it and the coffee mug handle was broke. I contacted amazon and they set a whole new place setting the very same day without even wanting the broken set returned. Now thats what I call ctotal customer satisfcation, I love making all and any purchases on amazon.com. Never disappointed.
This is the best price I found for this item. It is in perfect condition and is not a second. I will be ordering more as a wedding gift.
