I originally bought the 4-place setting set and was so happy with it that I decided to buy a few extra pieces just in case of breakage as time passes. These cups and saucers are very lovely. They feel smooth and somewhat delicate, and yet substantial at the same time. Normally I drink coffee in large mugs, but these dishes would be good for when I want to use something pretty just for me, or to set out for a visitor who stops by, or to use when you want to teach your children and family about gracious dining.

i need help from an anime buff to find this anime?
i was watching an anime on you tube i really like but my computer decided to update itself and shut off when i was watching this anime.I didn't write down the name before it shut down.I'm pretty sure it's an older anime by the way it was drawn, acting, what not. Well there are 2 girls they go to the national library one girl was dropping off a book there the other girl saw a big red bird she follows it up stairs into a vacant room. Her friend finds her there and they find a book with a picture of the bird on it.The book is about old china. They read the first page that say its about a girl and her journey china Willow and when she finished her wishes came true and if you read the book your wishes come true too. They read the book and then they get drawn into the book where a guy with the ogre symbol on his forehead. One friend gets transported back to the real world and reads as her friend journey through the book. The girl in the book doesn't know her friends back in the real world so she sets off to find the ogre guy he saves her yet again then she gets thrown in jail for assaulting the jail. she and the ogre guy escape and he tells her about the four protectors that protect the four directions the bird protects that region. she accidentally losses track of the ogre guy and ends up running into the king he tells her he thinks she is the women they've been waiting for that will save the kingdom from something devastating. If she excepts the journey all her wishes will come true she accepts and finds out she has to collect 7 warriors to help her the king ogre guy is one and so it the king he's the sign of the crab she later finds out one of the kings harem girls is the sign of the willow and she too is one of the warriors. Which you later find out is really a cross dressing guy which is in love with the king.Okay so does anyone know what the name of this anime is?! im hooked and i need to find out what happens next!!!!

  1. Since I like to collect teacups and saucers, including Churchill, quite some time ago, I jumped at this affordable set of four Blue Willow. The `true love legend’ back-story is sweet and the pattern evokes fond memories, since it has been around for so very long. Sitting down to a nice little cup of herbal tea or hot chocolate is made all the more delightful with this set. They have stood up perfectly to daily microwave and dishwasher use. This set was made in England which is a HUGE plus, since I have found that the quality is fully there when coming from England as opposed to a couple of other countries that some of the Churchill ware is sometimes manufactured in. As I have done with a number of Churchill and other teacups, I shared with a couple of teacup-loving friends who were thoroughly pleased at the little gift.
